ZAJAC Gary R. Gary R. Zajac, age 58, of Woodville, OH, passed away on Monday, May 30, 2011 at Borgess Medical Center, Kalamazoo, MI. On August 17, 1952 he was born to Raymond and Dorothy (Petee) Zajac in Toledo, OH. He married Elizabeth Maddy on October 3, 1981 in Gibsonburg, OH and she survives. Gary was a well known banker in Woodville for over 30 years and most recently was Branch Manager for Fremont Federal Credit Union in Woodville, OH. His memberships include: Woodville Jaycees, Woodville Youth Organization, Woodmore CAGE, Woodmore Athletic Boosters, Woodmore School of Paint, Ronnie D and the Greasers, and could be seen every Sunday at the flea market seeing "his people". In his spare time Gary coached baseball and softball for over 40 years. He will be remembered for his hugs to family, friends as well as new faces. Gary loved to be with his granddaughter and was anxiously awaiting the birth of his two grandsons. Surviving Gary is his wife: Elizabeth; children, Erin (Ryan) Stager of Oregon, OH, Steven (Amy Pilewski) Zajac of Rossford, OH, Sara (Joe) Nowak of Tiffin, OH, granddaughter, Evelyn Rose Zajac; mother, Dorothy Zajac of Rossford, OH and brother, Greg (Jeanne) Zajac of Rossford, OH. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond. Family and friends will be received on both Thursday, June 2, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM and Friday, June 3, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Marsh Funeral Home, 201 West Main Street, Woodville, OH. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at 11:00 AM from Solomon Lutheran Church, Woodville, OH where additional visitation will be held from 10 AM until services. There will be a bereavement luncheon served at the church immediately following the church services. Officiating will be Rev. William Duty and Rev. Karl Ribbeck. Interment will be private.
