Vicki & Sue, the small amount of time I knew your father was enough to know how much he loved to give and yet asked for nothing in return. His gift was to make everyone smile and laugh - including me. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

What a sad surprise seeing the photograph and obituary for my Devilbiss High School friend Ed Medley. Ed and I met the fall of l947 as incoming freshmen. We spent time together in a few classes, sometimes ate lunch together in the school cafeteria. I never saw Ed ever again when he left Devilbiss. I remember his short haircut, hearty laugh, sense of humor and unique outlook. Interesting fellow! God bless Ed!

I sure miss your smiling face Moe. I still look for you to be riding your golfcart around the campground. Thanks for all the crossword puzzle books you've given me through the years. I will miss you dearly.

Life is sometimes filled with regret. The regret of not knowing somebody special until life's journey nears it's end. The regret of not being there when you could have, or should have been. It is also filled with joy, the joy of knowing my brother, a part of myself that I am happy to have discovered and proud to share. A great and kind man who surely touched many lives with his friendly and unselfish ways. I am thankful for the moment in time that God has given me to know you. I will always remember you, Moe, the smallest part of your days that you shared with me will not be forgotten. I am sure that the birds will be looking into your kitchen window waiting for you to look out to them, but you will be looking after them from a much better place.
