Tara Lynn (Yager) DESANTOS Obituary
DESANTOS Tara Lynn (Yager) My most precious and beloved daughter, Tara Lynn DeSantos, 35, passed away unexpectedly in her home on Sunday, August 7, 2011. Tara was born in Atlanta, Georgia, on April 9, 1976, to John and Deborah Yager. Her grandma June liked to call her "Her little Georgia peach." Tara grew up in south Toledo. She attended St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Grade School, St. Ursula Academy and graduated from Bowsher High School. Currently she was taking classes at the University of Toledo. Tara was the former owner of Divaz Nail Salon and was currently working at Shear DeSign and Teaze Salon. Her children were her greatest joy in life. There isn't anything she wouldn't do for them. They loved her deeply and she will be greatly missed. Tara liked to take them fishing, to the park, feeding the ducks, baking their favorite cookies together, their movie nights and she enjoyed being a Girl Scout leader. In June they went on a family trip to Walt Disney World where the whole family made wonderful memories together. A most special thank you to Tara's step-dad, Sid, for the love and kindness he has always shown my daughter and her children. Tara was an avid Tim McGraw fan and enjoyed going to his concerts with her mom. They had great fun traveling together. Tara will be remembered among many things for the kindness in her heart, the unconditional love for her family and friends, the great strength she has shown in her struggle to keep her children together and her determination to never give up when times were tough. If you needed her she was always there, to love, comfort or help, putting your needs before her own. Left to cherish her memory are her five beloved children, Maranda, Brandon, fondly called "Her Little Man", Madison, McKenzie and Marissa; her mother, Deborah Warner, step-father, Sid Warner, brother, Robert (Stacy) Yager and brother and God-child, Daniel Warner. Also surviving are her step-brother, Chad (Kasey) Warner, step-sisters, Cathi (Peanut) Lannen and Candace Warner; former husband, Roberto DeSantos; many loving aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. Tara was preceded in death nine months ago by her father, John Yager; grandparents, Evalyn (June) Kantor, Martha Yager, Robert Yager and Al Smith. The family would like to extend their special thanks to Cathi, Candace and Shawna. Thank you my precious daughter for your love always and may you now rest in peace. We will cherish your love forever. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 14, 2011, from 2 to 8 p.m. at Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Ave. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 15, 2011, beginning with prayers at the funeral home at 9:00 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Church, 4201 Heatherdowns Blvd. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park. In life I loved you dearly, In death I love you still. In my heart you hold a place, No one else will ever fill. walterfuneralhome.com
