Andrew HOUSHOLDER Obituary

HOUSHOLDER Andrew Andrew Housholder, 78, of Bowling Green, Ohio, died Thursday, September 8, 2011, in Bowling Green, Ohio. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2011, at 10 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, Bowling Green. Revs. Gary and Mary Jane Saunders will officiate. Military Honors will follow the service at Oak Grove Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Memorial contributions may be given to the BGSU Foundation, Bridge Hospice or Hospice of Northwest Ohio or the Bowling Green Parks and Recreation for the Andy Open. Arrangements are being handled by Dunn Funeral Home, 408 W. Wooster St., located in the Historical District of Bowling Green. I am deeply saddened to hear of Andrews passing. He was a MARVELOUS example of a superb choir director. He is responsible for pulling our voices out of hybernation and formed a choir to heights that had never been equaled at Sauquoit Valley Central. It was an honor to know him and sing for him. He encouraged me to major in music but i had decided on nursing and now I am a singing nurse. He will never be forgotten!!!

So very sorry.
Mr. Housholder was our "Mr. Holland's Opus" at Sauquoit High School. His enthusiasm and passion inspired us all. Such sweet memories. He will never be forgotten.
