KATZ Thelma Belle Baker Schell Thelma Belle Baker Schell Katz, 80, passed away Monday, September 26, 2011, at the University of Toledo Medical Center surrounded be her loving family. She was born on March 15, 1931, in Toledo, Ohio, to George and Dorothea (Link) Baker. Thelma was a graduate of DeVilbiss High School. She was employed as a secretary for Prestolite Automotive and later worked in various departments of the University of Toledo Medical Center. She was an active member of the Providence Lutheran Church. Thelma was also part of Bunco and Pinochle Clubs, as well as a member of the Chanterettes of the Zenobia Shrine. Thelma enjoyed being a grandmother and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren dearly. Thelma is survived by her children, Deborah D. (John) Hyter, Susan R. (Jon E.) Stahl, Robert C. (Maureen E.) Schell and Michael A. (Beverly) Schell; a plethora of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; stepchildren, Vivian (John) Knapp, Beverly (Harry) Powless and Sheldon (Denise) Katz and faithful friend, Betty Schmidt. Thelma was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert C. Schell Sr. and Walter Katz; her parents, George and Dorothea and cousin, Pat Reichenbaugh. Friends and family will be received Thursday, September 29, 2011, from 2-9 PM in the Neville Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland, OH 43528 (419-865-8879). Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM Friday, September 30, 2011 at Providence Lutheran Church, 8131 Airport Highway in Holland where the family will receive friends after 9:30 AM.
