Raymond EISER Obituary

EISER Raymond A. Sr. Raymond A. Eiser, Sr., 64, went to be with the Lord Thursday, October 27, 2011 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Toledo, Ohio February 3, 1947 to Raymond H. and Alberta (Hoskins) Eiser. Ray worked for 25 years as a plumber for Lucas County and retired in 2011. He was a United States Army Veteran; Ray also belonged to Lighthouse Baptist Church where he was the Superintendant of Sunday School, Church bus driver, and did the necessary maintenance in the church. He loved to hunt, fish and golf and was a diehard OSU fan. Raymond is survived by his wife of 43 years, Nancy (Johnson) Eiser; children, Christine Conrad, Cynthia Spurlock, Chellie McNeal and Raymond Eiser, Jr.; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; along with his brother, Robert Eiser. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Michael D. Epperson Jr., and brother, Glen Ferris. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 1, 2011 from 2-8 p.m. at David R. Jasin - Hoening Funeral Home, 5300 N. Summit St., (419-726-1583). Funeral Services will begin on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Gary L. Wegener officiating. Interment is in Historic Woodlawn Cemetery. Tributes in Ray's memory can be made to family in care of Nancy Eiser. Condolences to the family may be placed at: www.jasinfuneralhome.com

Nancy & Family, my greatest sympathy go out to you all. Ray was a very dear friend and a great employee. We all will miss him at work. I'm sure the angels will take good care of him.

Nancy and Family. Thank you for informing about Ray throught his illness. I enjoyed Talking with him,working with him and especially passing out candy to the Kids as we walked together in the Labor day parades for many years.You have my sympathy.Ray was a Good man and he will be missed.Your Friend Gary R.
