PAWLISKI Virginia R. Virginia R. Pawliski, age 85, formerly of the North End Historic Polish Village, passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2012, at Perrysburg Commons surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born on August 25, 1926, in Toledo, OH to Walter and Helen (Kowalski) Krysztofiak. Virginia worked in the paint shop at the Jeep Plant on Jeep Parkway for 15 years, retiring in 1992, and before that for the Autolite Corporation and the Hostess Bakery. A longtime parishioner of St. Adalbert Catholic Church, she also attended Regina Coeli Catholic Church. Virginia was a member of the American Legion Argonne Post 545 Auxiliary and the Local 12 Jeep retirees. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and homemaker, she enjoyed crocheting and working in her garden. Virginia is survived by her daughter, Helen (Joseph) Pawlicki of Waterville, OH; sons, Michael (Ruth) Pawliski of Toledo and Paul (Lisa) Pawliski of Monclova, OH; sister, Evelyn Grzecki of Toledo; brother, Daniel "Jim" (Mary) Krysztofiak of Cincinnati, OH; sisters-in-law, Stella Mazor and Rose Pawliski; special friend, Peggy VanDyke; 11 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. In addition to her parents, Walter and Helen; she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Pawliski, and son, Joseph "Joey" Pawliski Jr. Family and friends may visit on Tuesday from 2:00-8:00 p.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114-128 E. Alexis Rd., where members of the Regina Coeli Altar Rosary Society will lead a Rosary at 6 p.m., and members of the American Legion Argonne Post 545 Auxiliary will lead a Service at 6:30 p.m. Funeral Services will begin on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home and continue with the Funeral Mass in Regina Coeli Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
