NUGENT Paul E. Paul Earl Nugent, age 77, of Toledo, OH died Tuesday, May 22, 2012, in the Ebeid Residence Hospice Sylvania, OH. Born in Detroit, the son of Herbert and Violet Snyder Nugent, Paul enlisted in The United States Marine Corps following High School, serving during the Korean War with a total of eleven years of active duty. After settling in Toledo he began a thirty-three year career in banking with the former First National Bank where he held various management positions until retiring in 1998. Paul later was employed for six years by The Toledo Museum of Art in the security department. He was a life member of the NRA and American Legion Post 74 and was a proud fan of The Ohio State University sports programs, as well as the Detroit Lions, Red Wings and Tigers. Preceding him were his parents and brother Ronald Nugent. Surviving are the favorite women in his life, Janice B. Nugent and Carol Nugent; also daughters, Deborah Nugent and Karen Kemp; brothers, Donald Nugent of Manchester, TN and Thomas Goad of Tecumseh, MI; sister, Phyllis Myers also of Manchester, TN; granddaughters, Misty Lee Kemp and Ciara Sekulski, and pet cat Ted. A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, May 26, 2012 from 12:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. in the Thomas I. Wisniewski Funeral Home 2426 N. Reynolds Rd. (between Central and Bancroft) with sharing of memories and Military Rites at 4:00 p.m. Memorial tributes in Paul's memory are suggested in the form of contributions to Ebeid Residence Hospice.
