To my cousin Daryl, I'm Carol's oldest daughter Vicky. I am sorry to hear of Uncle Hank's passing. I remember he and Aunt Frida when they lived in Toledo. My brothers and I were young when we visited . Uncle Hank was always jolly, always in his garage/workshop. I remember a prized red Cadillac there. They always had pink wintergreen mints for us. We picked rhubarb in the back yard and ate it raw. I remember when I was little wondering why Uncle Hank was always winking at me. He was always happy and patient with us. I have good memories of my grandmother , his sister also. I understand from my mother that he was her greatest advocate in her life. I'm glad she had him for a big brother. I hope they are together again in a better place where they can comfort each other again. I am here with my parents now in Toledo. Come visit any time. My brothers are both in Toledo also. You have family here that would love to catch up. Take care of yourself. Vicky Stokes Colvin

Daryl......I don't know if you remember me or if I'm writting to the person I used
to know. Sorry to hear about your father. I read about his passing in the local
newspaper "The Toledo Blade". My name is Larry Ramey. I grew up on Myers
St. (555 Myers) in Toledo Ohio and had a friend named Daryl Lipp (it's been
about 63 years ago). We went to Burroughs Elementry School. I just thought
I would send my condolences to you and your family if you are that person.
