James A. III

After a courageous year long battle with oral cancer, Jim gave-up his fight Tuesday morning, October 23, 2012. Jim was born December 19, 1960, in Toledo and was a 1978 Whitmer High School graduate. He left shortly there after for Phoenix, AZ where he worked in construction on high-rise buildings and bridges. He enjoyed carpentry in his spare time.

He is survived by daughter, Genah R. Babcock; father, James A. Babcock Jr.; sisters, Faith Babcock (Agocs) and Dawn Heilman (Mark); six nieces and nephews; Ross Donald, friend and caregiver, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Our sincere thanks to Bridge Hospice Care Center, Bowling Green for their outstanding care of Jim and our family.

Join the family for a memorial on Saturday, October 27, 2012, at 11:00 at Connie's Celebration, 6195 Lewis Ave., Toledo. Followed by a Celebration of Life until 2:30. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Bridge Hospice, 1069 Klotz Road, Bowling Green, OH 43402-4820 or donor's choice.
