Walter J.

Walter J. Gordon, age 59, passed away Friday, October 19, 2012. He was born April 12, 1953, to Walter Henry and Shirley (DuBois) Gordon in Toledo, OH. Walter served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was a Deputy Sheriff for the Lucas County Sheriff Department for 27 years. Walter was a member of Hopewell Wesleyan Church. He was an excellent marksman and loved camping and fishing at KOA Camps with his family.

Walter is survived by children, Cheyanne Gordon, Walter Jason Gordon and Karras Gordon; sister, Doreen (Dan) Powers, and grandchildren, Breanne, Brandon, Brysen and Brayden. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Tom Gordon; sister, Marie Patton, and son, Brandon Gordon.

Family and friends may visit Monday from 2-7 p.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114-128 E. Alexis Rd. The Funeral Service will follow at 7 p.m. with Pastor Jerry Craig presiding. Please share condolences at www.sujkowski.com
