David B. Hall of Toledo passed away on Friday, October 26, 2012, in The Toledo Hospital at the age of 72. He was a proud veteran of both the United States Air Force and the United States Navy for which the country is grateful. David worked for Zantop International Airlines for 21 years then later for Grand Aire as an aviation mechanic. He was a member of RiverPoint Ministries UMC and enjoyed reading, camping, woodworking and metal smithing.
David was preceded in death by parents, Charles and Elizabeth (Gilson) Hall; first wife, Beatrice; second wife, Loretta, and brother, Stuart Hall. Left to cherish his memory are sons, Tim (Anne) Hall, David (Tammy) Kies and Thom Hall; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Margaret (Bud) Mast, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will begin in the David R. Jasin-Hoening Funeral Home, 5300 N. Summit St., (419.726.1583) on Wednesday, October 31, 2012, from 2-8 p.m. On Thursday, November 1, 2012, there will be visitation in RiverPoint Ministries UMC, 2862 - 131st St., Toledo from 10-11 a.m. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. with Pastor Darlene Fugate officiating. Interment will be in Ft. Meigs Union Cemetery. Those wishing to make memorial contributions in David's name are asked to consider the church.
