Harold B. Montague of Maumee, Ohio passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2012, at the Elizabeth Scott Care Center. He was born on November 30, 1925, to Frank and Louisa Montague in Toledo, Ohio. Harold was a U.S. Navy veteran during World War II in the Pacific Theater. He retired from the Jeep Corporation after 20 years and also retired from the C.S.X. Railroad after 33 years in 1988 as a yard conductor. Harold was a great handyman and enjoyed fishing and gardening. He was a member of the United Transportation Union, Maumee Eagles #2562, American Legion Post #320 in Maumee and V.F.W Post 606 in Toledo.

Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Charlene "Carol", and brother, Frank. He is survived by his children, Nancy (Bill) Coburn; Debbie (Craig) Fauble and Todd (Tina) Montague; brothers, Gerald and Don (Barb); grandchildren, Cathy McGuire; Matthew Coburn; Paul (Stacey) Bucher and Jenny Bucher; great-grandchildren, Thomas, Molly and Maggie, and dear friends, Chuck (Ernestine) Humes.

Friends and family may visit on Monday, November 5, 2012, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2012, at 10 a.m. Interment will be held at Historic Woodlawn Cemetery. The family would like to extend thanks to the staff of Elizabeth Scott Memorial Care Center and Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made the charity of donor's choice.
