Penelope (Seifert) Rader, 70, of Toledo, OH passed away at Ebeid Hospice Center, Wednesday, November 14, 2012.

Penny was born to the late Robert and Delores (Wood) Seifert on August 2, 1942, in Monroe, MI. She graduated from Bedford High School in 1961. She married the late James Francis Rader Sr., February 14, 1969.

She loved spending time at the Raisin River with her family. She loved to travel. She was a flea market vendor selling among other things collectable dolls, some of which she made, learning the trade from her late parents. She was an expert seamstress, making clothing for people and dolls. She attended and was baptized at Bedford Alliance Church in Temperance, MI. Her family and friends will dearly miss her.

She is survived by her sister, Roblynn (Dick) Seifert-Warns; daughter, Jenifer (Dan) Rader-Gobbell; sons, James (Dana) Rader Jr., Robert (Stacey) Rader, and William (Amanda) Rader; 11 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Cindy (Seifert) Earley, Claudia Seifert; son, Danny Rader; grandson, Joshua Reich, and niece, Jennifer Warns.

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 20, 2012, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Bedford Alliance Church 8645 Jackman Road Temperance, MI at which time the Service will be held at 3 p.m. Cremation will follow. Memorial tributes may be made to the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Farnham Funeral Home.
