Mr. Armstrong exemplified fatherhood with grace and love. In a time when many young people are growing up as a fatherless child, Antwan rose because of his father. I learned how to communicate better as a father whenever I witnessed Mr. Armstong's presence with Antwan at SEED. Their love as father/son was infectious. If you didn't have your father involved, you wanted one after seeing them. And if your father was involved, you wanted to reach out to say I love you.
My conversations with Mr. Armstrong will never be forgotten. I thank you Mr. Armstrong for serving your purpose to all of us in different ways. May you succeed in your next assignment. Be good!

A lot can be said. However the most important that he was a man that was able to be a father figure to many men. In a era where responsibility is deferred, he looked to take on the responsibility of growing men from boys. I'll forever miss him as a father.

To Antwain, Desa and My Armstrong Family: I had the privilege to speak to Terry the week before his transition. His voice was full of life and much love. However, our beloved Terry now knows more than those whom he left behind. Remember God will continue to comfort you through His Holy Spirit. We must continue to spread "LOVE" as Terry so often expressed when he would arrive for our family gatherings. I am certain that God was pleased with Terry's work down here. Rest on dear cousin. Trust God Antwain, your Dad loved you so and was most proud of you! What an awesome HOMEGOING SERVICE!

Tammie, Antwaun and Family,
God didn't promise days without pain, laugher without sorrow or sun without rain. But God did promise strength for the day, comfort for tears and light for the way. And for all who believe in His kingdom of love, He answers their faith with peace from above. May these words bring you comfort during this time of grief.
