Edward Waddell, 88, passed away January 8, 2013, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Born in Lexington, MS, he was a longtime member of Grace Temple COGIC where he served as a trustee, on the ushers ministry and chaired many fundraisers. He was also a member of the Interdenominational Church Ushers Association and the UAW. Edward was a retired autoworker with General Motors Corporation. Edward was also an honorably discharged veteran of the U.S. Navy having served during World War II.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, four brothers, four sisters and one granddaughter. He leaves to treasure many fond memories his daughter, Katherine Randall (Los Angeles, California); special friend, Lorena Roberts; sister, Mrs. Lillie B. Waddell (Milwaukee, WI); special nephew, Louis (Dorothy) Randall; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; care givers, Tim Hunt and Mike Roberts, and a host of in-laws, nephews, nieces, other loving relatives, kind friends and his Grace Temple Church Family.

Visitation will be Friday 10:00 a.m. followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m. Grace Temple COGIC, Pastor Chester Trail officiant, interment Restlawn Memorial Park.
