Larry Gene Booth 69, passed away January 13, 2013, at the Toledo Hospital.
Born in Central City, Kentucky, he and his family moved to Indianapolis, IN where he attended school. After school he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served in Vietnam, receiving the following decorations, Presidential Unit Citation, Good Conduct Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, National Defense Service Medal and Vietnamese Service Medal with three stars. He received an honorable discharged on February 1970.
He was preceded in death by mother, Almarion Booth; father, Oliver W. Booth Sr.; sisters, Patricia and Marie Booth.
Larry leaves to cherish his memory sisters, Eve Lynn Booth-Packard, Virginia Lynn Booth-Womack; brother, Oliver W. Booth Jr.; brother-in-law, Richard Oliver Womack, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Wake service will be Saturday (Today) 10:00 a.m. at The Beacon Church formerly Bethel Apostolic Temple 1664 W. Bancroft St., with memorial service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Belinda Levey Akpassa, officiant. Disposition private.
