VAUGHAN

Anne (Ainsworth)

Anne Vaughan (Ainsworth), age 60, passed away January 14, 2013, in Scottsdale, AZ. Anne started in the film and photography department of WTVG-TV (formerly WSPD-TV) after her graduation from Bowling Green State University in 1974. She was promoted to the news department in 1976 and became an on-air reporter for the news where she covered all news events from politics to police to pie baking. Anne's abilities in marketing and sales later called, and she joined WTVG's sale staff in 1980 becoming a top selling media executive.

Anne was an active member of Toledo's Ski Club, The Ad Club of Toledo, and an active participant in Toledo's Big Brother/Big Sister program, forging a lifetime bond with her 'little sister.'

Anne retired from Dow Chemical Corporation in 2008, after a long career in public relations at Dow with her last position as Executive Communications Leader, Global R & D, at the Dow Chemical Midland Headquarters. Prior to Dow Chemical, Anne worked for Covenant Healthcare in Saginaw as Public Relations Manager.

Anne is survived by her mother, Bette Vaughan Hunt of Paradise Valley, AZ; sister, Carolyn (Steve) Dunn of Carlsbad, CA, and brothers, Bill (Mary Ann) Vaughan of Auburn, CA, and Bob Vaughan of Boise, ID.
