Norma Jean (Foos)

Norma Jean (Foos) Vossberg, 83 passed away on February 22, 2013, at her home in Inverness, FL, with family by her side. She was born on April 7, 1929, in Wood County to the late Herman and Helen (Widman) Foos of Gibsonburg. Norma Jean graduated from Gibsonburg High School in 1947. On June 27, 1953, she married Gustav Vossberg at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Gibsonburg. He preceded her in death. Brother, Richard Foos; sisters, Eileen Willer and Marcele Burns; also preceded her in death. Survivors include sons, Gregory (Mary) of West Hills, CA, Keith (Michelle) of Palm Harbor, FL; her wonderful grandchildren, Sam, Max, and Bella (The Little Ballerina) all of West Hills, CA. Surviving are four brothers and four sisters; numerous nieces and nephews, as well as the Vossberg family in the Toledo/Michigan area. Norma Jean worked at Ohio Bell in Toledo, OH for many years while making her home in Temperance, MI before moving to Inverness, FL. She was a gracious and loving mother, sister, and friend, who was known for her warm sense of humor and lovely smile. She will be greatly missed by many.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Inverness, FL at 12 noon. Burial will be at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
