"Ever has it been that love knows not its own depth until the hour of separation."
It is with tremendous sorrow that we report that Pat Drenser, loving wife to Bill, mom to Kim and Bridgit and Nana to Griffin, Morgan, McKenna and Kennedy, passed away in her sleep on February 28, 2013, at age 67.
Born on September 17, 1945, Pat grew up in Toledo, OH, where she later attended the University of Toledo. At UT Pat was actively involved in student life serving as the President of her sorority (Delta Delta Delta), and also Student Council President. She was a double major in English and History. Also at UT, Pat met her husband, Bill, who was on the UT basketball team. Pat and Bill have been married for 46 years.
Always giving and selfless, Pat's fierce devotion to her family was apparent to all who knew her. Later, as a grandparent, she wanted nothing more than to play games with her grandchildren and to spend time talking with them on the phone when too far to visit. Pat was also a devoted fan to the USC Trojans and enjoyed many Saturdays watching 'SC football games in her home with her family.
Pat's caring and nurturing nature was also evident with her love for animals. She was personally involved with saving the lives of many cats over the past 20 years, caring for them when no one else would, providing them with medical attention, a home and unconditional love.
Her memory will always be with us always, for what lives in your heart never dies. We love you and miss you Nana. This is for you...
