Mr. John Everett Jr.

Mr. John Everett Lawson, Jr., 78, of Toledo, OH passed away Saturday, March 30, 2013, in the Ebeid Hospice, Sylvania, OH. He was a 1953 graduate of the Jesup W. Scott High School and was an honorable discharged U.S. Veteran of the Korean War. He worked at the Daimler/Chrysler Corporation as a fork lift driver, 28 and 1/2 years, retiring in 1997. He was the widower of Shirley Ann Lawson and also was preceded in death by parents and brother, Kendall.

Surviving are sons, John W. of Houston, TX and Nathan E. (Alicia) and Rollin D. Lawson both of Toledo, OH; daughters, Rhonda L. (U.S.) McIntosh, Pasha L. Andrews, Diane E. (James) Glover and Leslie K. (Richard) Rowe all of Toledo; 21 grand, 17 great-grand and 1 great-great-grandchild; brothers, Warren (Thelma) Lawson of Washington, DC and Henry (Gail) Lawson of Sylvania, OH; sisters, Carol (Ollie) Randall of Las Vegas, NV, Joann Carter of Sylvania, OH, Jerilyn (Paul) Garrison, Phyllis Lawson and Robin Lightner all of Toledo, and a host of other loving relatives and kind friends.

A Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2013. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 6, 2013, preceded by Family Hour/ Wake Services at 10:00 a.m. at The C. Brown Funeral Home, Inc. Chapel, 1629 Nebraska Avenue. The Reverend Leslie Boyd, Officiant.
