Raymond R.

Raymond R. Gawrych, age 86, of Toledo Ohio, died April 19, 2013, in his home. The son of Ernest and Mina Madalinski Gawrych and a US Army Veteran of WWII, he retired from Jeep Corporation following 44 years in the plant office.

Preceding him were his parents and siblings, Jim Gawrych and Vernell Towsley. His memberships included VFW Roman "Buddy" Frankowski Post 5530, American Legion Argonne Post 545 and PNA 520. Surviving is his sister Lucy Gawrych, also several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank caregivers Jill, Sue, Julie and Laurette, also Senior Independence Hospice and Mike McCoy for their care and support.

A private service with interment in Calvary Cemetery has been held.

Memorial tributes suggested in the form of contributions to Senior Independence Hospice.
