Joseph P. "Joe"
Joseph P. "Joe" Deuschle, age 76, of Oregon, OH, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2013, at Mercy St. Charles Hospital. He was born on May 16, 1936, to Harold and Violet (Wilkins) Deuschle in Columbus, OH. Joe was a Service Representative at Owens Illinois Inc. for 20 years. He enjoyed fishing and was a member of the Moose Lodge in Fremont and St. Peter Lutheran Church. His true passion was antique farm equipment and he was a member of the Power of Yesteryear Club, S.C.R.A.P. Inc. and the 5 Point Steam Threshers. Out of all the joys in his life, he cherished the time spent with his family most of all.
Joe is survived by his loving wife, Marlene; children, Mark (Madonna) Deuschle, Donna (Tim) Robinson, Mary Jo (Mark) Slowinski, Connie (Mark) Lasko and Renee (Alan) Bowser; grandchildren, Greg, Jessica, Amber, Dustin, Thomas, and Jeff; great-grandchildren, Madison, Leah, Kevin, and Jessica, brother, Don (Diane) Deuschle. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Ed Deuschle and Carol Richey.
Friends and family may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel 1155 S. Wynn Rd. in Oregon, OH on, Sunday, May 5, 2013, from 4-8 p.m. and Monday, May 6, 2013, from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 17877 State Route 579 Martin, OH 43445 at 11 a.m. where family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Elliston Cemetery. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider St. Peter Lutheran Church.
