Frances "Emily" Borysiak, age 84, of Toledo, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2013, at Flower Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 6, 1928, in Pike Township, OH, to Albert and Sarah R. (Dunbar) Frey. Emily worked at one time as a restaurant cook. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and homemaker, she was a wonderful cook and baker. She loved Polish music and following the area's polka bands. She was a parishioner of Regina Coeli Catholic Church and a member of the VFW Post 3925 Auxiliary in Erie, MI.
Emily is survived by her sons, Terry Durham, Gary (Bev) Durham, Timothy (Marsha) Durham, Patrick Durham, Todd (Darla) Durham and Steven Borysiak; daughters, Connie (Ron) Pribe, and Angela (Lee) Monday; stepdaughters, Laurene (Don) Markis and Carol Loss; daughter-in-law, Eileen Durham; brothers, James Frey and William (Gloria) Frey; sisters, Audrey (Sam) Smith and Jane (Robert) Burroughs; and many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard "Dick" Borysiak; son, Mark Durham, and brothers, John, Robert, Herbert and Donald Frey.
Family and friends may visit on Wednesday from 2:00-8:00 p.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd., with recitation of the Rosary at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Services will begin on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home and continue with the Funeral Mass in Regina Coeli Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
