Larry Andrew

Larry Andrew Pomorski, 66, passed away July 27, 2013, after a hard-fought battle with pancreatic cancer. Born in Toledo, Ohio, Larry was a 1965 graduate of Woodward High School and an honorably discharged veteran of the Air Force. Larry worked at Champion Spark Plug and the US Postal Service.

He is survived by four children, Misty Matin, Gregory Pomorski, Adam Pomorski, and Valerie Johnston; six grandchildren; sisters, Mary Euler, and Joan Tyburski, and a host of other relatives, and friends.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Mindy, Dr. Bradley Sachs and staff; Jill, Dr. Dhaval Parikh, and staff; and staff of the Hospice of Northwest Ohio. If you would like to honor Larry, please consider a donation to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or the Victory Center.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900) with a Scripture Service beginning at 5:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Adalbert Church, 3233 Lagrange St., Toledo. Interment at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
