Roy Clay, Jr.

Roy Clay Hatton, Jr., 64, passed away surrounded by loved ones on Thursday, July 25, 2013, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg.

You are gone physically from this world, but your memory will live on forever.

Roy was born in Lexington, Kentucky; the son of Roy Clay and Pauline Ruth (Cochran) Hatton Sr., who preceded him in death. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. (James) Holliday, Anna M. (Bob) Leach; grandson, Steven J. Butler, Jr.; fiancé, Pat H. Pieper; former wife, Christy Arnold; many nieces and nephews, and numerous friends. He was preceded in death by brother, Christopher E. Hatton; daughter, Amanda B. Hatton, and brother-in-law, Clifford Swartz.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., on Saturday, August 17, 2013, at VFW Post #1275, 124 E. Elm St, Lima, Ohio 45801, with a Military Service at 1:00 p.m., with Chaplain Dick Coon officiating. Contributions to Holli Hatton would be appreciated, to help with funeral expenses.
