Reba Robinson, 88, of Holland, Ohio passed away Monday, December 9, 2013, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's. She was married to Angelo Robinson who owned Robinson Construction. They moved to Toledo in 1950.
Reba (Pearl) was born in Wilkes-Barre, Kentucky and was raised in Birmingham, Alabama and attended Parker High School. She was a natural caregiver with a rare combination of talents. She became "Mother" to many over the years.
She became a member of First Missionary Baptist Church in the late 1980s, and served as President of the Usher Board for several years. "Mother Robinson" was so loved by so many.
Her husband, Angelo; sons, Richard and Bob; brothers, Robert, Thomas Calvin and Oscar, preceded her. She leaves five daughters, Tywanna F. Loveless, Toledo, Marthalene Grady (John), New York, Angela Beck (Maurice), California, Evangeline Steele (Michael), Arkansas, Renata Terry, California; two sisters, Mantha Moss, New York, Juanita Sanders, Alabama. Additionally, she leaves more than twenty very special grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and relatives that will miss her for a very long time.
Visitation will be Tuesday, from 3:00-6:00 p.m. with family hour Wednesday, 10:30 a.m. followed by funeral services at 11:30 a.m., all at Dale-Riggs Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. William McCaster officiant, interment Forest Cemetery.
