Billy N. Graham passed away peacefully Sunday, December 15, 2013, surrounded by his loving family in the Parkcliffe Alzheimer's Community at the age of 83. He was born March 6, 1930, in Beech Creek, Kentucky to Edward and Emma (Basset) Graham. In 1943, Bill and his family moved to Toledo and in 1944 he met the love of his life Velma Washer, whom he married on April 10, 1948.

He was the plant manager and personnel director at Toledo Pressed Steel where he retired after 35 years of employment.

Bill very much enjoyed helping others, you could always rely on him to fix or repair anything.

He was a volunteer for Mobile Meals and was long time member of Judson Baptist Church.

The greatest pleasure in Bill's life was his family, which he cherished more than anything else.

He is preceded in death by his sisters, Erdist Wyatt, Edna Pratt, Eula Strader, and brother, Norton Graham. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Velma; children, Linda (Dan) Davis, Marcia Johnson and Ron (Karen) Graham; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jason, Josh, Jillian, Zachary, Amanda and Tyler, and great-grandchildren, Logan, Breanna, Addison and Audrey; brothers, Noel (Donna) Graham, Paul Graham, James Graham, and sister, Dorothy Shelton.

Friends may call at the Foth - Dorfmeyer Mortuary 3815 Sylvania Ave. (between Monroe St. and Talmadge Rd.) Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. and Wednesday after 11 a.m., followed by funeral services at 1 p.m. with interment to follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Bill's family would like to thank the staff at Parkcliffe Alzheimer's Community and Senior Independence Hospice for their care.
