Lois A.
Lois A Foltz, 83, of Toledo, Ohio passed away in her residence on March 18, 2014. Lois was born in Toledo, Ohio on August 23, 1930, to Otto and Stella (Schmidt) Schmidt. Lois was a graduate of Libbey High School and of Mercy Hospital School of Nursing. Lois worked in a number of area Health care facilities for many years. Lois was a life member of Trinity Lutheran Church serving as the financial secretary for countless years and was a member of the church altar guild.
Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Foltz in 1990 and her brother, Ken Schmidt. Surviving are her daughter, Sue (Bob) Baker; son, Patrick Robert Foltz; granddaughters, Nikki and Shelley Baker, and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd at Byrne Rd. on Wednesday, March 26, 2014, 2:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 27, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. in Trinity Lutheran Church, 4560 Glendale Ave., where the family will receive friends after 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery. I remember that beautiful smile in the halls of Trinity and I always will. I met Lois at Trinity's "Santa Shop" while wrapping gifts and looked forward to seeing her there each year. She touched my heart and she will be missed. Sending prayers.

To sue bob Nikki Shelly and pat I just want to say I am soooo sooo sorry for your loss "grandma folts" was so nice and welcoming and I have way to many to count great childhood memories at her house. So sorry to hear about your loss. I remember her from when I attended Trinity back in the late 60's early 70's. She was a nice lady and I know she will be missed.
