Sharon M. (Poturalski)
Sharon M. Benge (Poturalski) of Bowling Green, OH, 62, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 7, 2014. Sharon was born January 21, 1952, to Daniel and Christine Poturalski.
A wife to Joseph Benge (married January 30, 1970) and a mother to Amy (Mark) Bell, Dawn (Christopher) Gillard, and Todd (Shannon) Benge. Grandmother to 7 wonderful grandchildren, Dakota Bell, Stephanie Bell, Gavin Gillard, Sydney Gillard, Tucker Benge, Violet Benge, and Cooper Benge. Sharon loved spending time with her family and friends, playing bingo, and going to the casino. She also enjoyed entertaining friends and family, during the holidays. Prior to working for The Kennedy Organization for over 25 years, she was a stay at home mom, who was involved in all of her children's activities.
She is survived by husband Joseph Benge; 3 children, and 7 grandchildren. She is also survived by her mother, Christine Poturalski (Malak); sister, Linda (Rick) Szymanowski; brother, Allan (Kristin) Poturalski, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Daniel Poturalski.
Family and friends may visit at the W.K. Sujkowski and Son Funeral Home, 3838 Airport Hwy., Toledo, OH 43615 on Wednesday, April 9th (TODAY) from 3:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, where friends and family will be received in the funeral home at 9:00 a.m. with a prayer service at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at the Providence St. Patrick's Church in Grand Rapids, Ohio. Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens.

Uncle Tom, Amy Dawn and Todd, I am deeply saddened by Aunt Sharons unexpected passing! I can't possibly imagine what you are going thru at this time! She was a great cook and a great mom and Grandmother! She is watching over you and all with a huge smile on her face, proud of each and everyone of you! I'm truly sorry I cannot be there to express my condolences in person, but know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers & I love you all very much!

I am so sorry to hear about your Mom's death. My husband & I saw her about a year ago at the Legion in Maumee. We talked about the days of St. Jude, chasing everywhere for you kids, soccer, dances, school. And of course we heard all about her grandchildren. I am sure adjusting to life without her will be difficult for you all, she loved all of you so much. Our family will keep you all in our prayers.

Aunt Sharon, I will miss you forever and always remember that you are the BEST Aunt I could ever ask for. You have showed me the way to throw a GREAT party, tie a beautiful gift bow, and most of all, how to be the BEST AUNT I can be :) I can't really believe this is happening, but you deserve the best tribute, so please know how much I love you. And please know how much not only me, but Steve, my little Lucy, & Charlie have always thought THE WORLD OF YOU TOO!!!!! I just miss you more than you know
