Mildred J. Lee
Mildred Justeen Lee passed away peacefully at the age of 93 in her home on the morning of Tuesday, January 16, 2018. Mildred was born January 30, 1924 in Ullin, IL to Jesse and Martha Meals. While in Toledo, she met and married Wayne Lee. Together they raised 9 children. Mildred was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1964, where she was a member of Midtown Congregation. She retired from Toledo Public Schools. She also loved dancing, decorating her home, shopping for her family, and always took joy in looking her best.
Mildred was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wayne; sisters, Francis Marie, Jessie May and Joyce Anne; and children, Stephen, Keith, Alan and Lisa. She leaves to cherish her memory, her sons, Ronald (Elizabeth), Mark (Patricia) and Kenneth; daughters, Wanda Ferreira and Iris Bryant; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Toledo (1722 Cherry St.) at 3 p.m., preceded by the family hour at 2 p.m., Brother Hugh Collins, officiant. Blanchard-Strabler Funeral Home (419) 269-1111. Online condolences:

Mrs. Lee was Beautiful, Inspiring, Witty, Talented, Thrifty.....she was a Queen...my mother-in-law and grandmother to my children...Let not our hearts be troubled...she's HOME at last...and she'll be "Walking around Heaven all day..." RIH Mrs. Lee.
