SOUTHINGTON - Christine (Tardie) Lamarre, 87, of Plantsville section of Southington, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2013, at MidState Medical Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Armand Lamarre.

Born in Eagle Lake, Maine the daughter of the late Eloi and Mamie (Albert) Tardie. She was a resident of Southington since 1957. Prior to her retirement she was employed by the former Allied Control of Southington. She was a parishioner of St. Aloysius Church.
Christine is survived by five sons, Roland and wife, June, Nelson and wife, Rebecca, of Southington, Clayton and Kenneth, of Plantsville, Lyman, of Berlin; a daughter, Brenda, of Plantsville. She also leaves two sisters, Delores Tardie, of Caribou, Maine and Albertine Nadeau, of Sherrill, N.Y.; seven grandchildren; two step- grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four sons, Lester, Raynold, Leland, and Brandon; tow sisters, Ernestine Lemieux and Gail Tardie; four brothers, Alvin "Junior", Albert, Elmer and Wilmer Tardie.
Her funeral will be held on Monday at 10:15 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. to St. Aloysius Church at 11 a.m. Burial will be at St. Thomas Cemetery.
