Ronnie had many friends from her GE days, before and after she retired. After retirement Ronnie and Ben moved to Florida for the next 22 years. Always a Plainville native, they returned home for the remainder of their later years. Ronnie was a volunteer at the Senior Center, helping to put together the monthly newsletter. She also volunteered for the "Telephone Reassurance Program," which was provided by the Senior Center with calls to shut-ins', making sure they were all right and hopefully to brighten their day. Always the life of a party, she loved to dance, and did so, until health problems told the Irish in her, she needed to slow down, as she approached the century mark of her life. But if there was ever a chance to go shopping, Ronnie did it. A dedicated communicant of Our Lady of Mercy in Plainville, she will be greatly missed by all. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the Staff at Apple Rehab for all the care they provided Ronnie in the past three years. In lieu of flowers the family asks that any contributions be made to the exceptional care she received in her last days to; Masonicare Partners, Home Health & Hospice, 111 Founders Plaza, East Hartford, CT 06108.
