Robert F. Huffman HAMILTON - Robert F. Huffman, 67, of Hamilton passed away Tuesday at Samaritan Hospice at Virtua Memorial Hospital, Mt. Holly. Born in Trenton, Robert was an area resident for most of his life, residing in Willingboro from 1972 to 1996, and then returning to Hamilton. He was retired from the State of New Jersey/Department of Agriculture, where he was a senior laboratory technician for over 38 years. Robert was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in Vietnam, and was a longtime member of St. Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church. His passions were fishing, cooking, and raising and collecting various types of insects. Son of the late Albert and Judith Thompson Huffman, he is survived by his wife of 42 years, Roberta "Bobbie" Hayes Huffman; his daughter and son-in-law, Heidi and Joseph M. Spillane of Westampton; his son, Robert A. Huffman of Hamilton; his grandchildren, Victoria and Joseph A. Spillane; his sisters and brother-in-law, Judy Miller of West Caldwell and Kathryn Ann and Wayne Temple of Chesterfield; his sister-in-law, Sharon Romanoski and husband, Carl, of Westchester, PA; seven nieces and a nephew, and two great-nieces and a great-nephew. A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at St. Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church, 350 White Horse Ave., Hamilton. Rev. Linda Thurston, Pastor, will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to St. Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church, 350 White Horse Ave., Hamilton, NJ 08610 (www.stmarknj.tripod.com) or Samaritan Hospice, 175 Madison Ave., Mt. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I got to know Bob in the last five years or so. He was dedicated to helping the young inmates at Garden State Correctional facility. Whenever Bob called I would gladly meet him at the facility and carry the message of recovery and hope.

He was such a dedicated and compassionate person and will be greatly missed. God Bless to family and friends.
