Harvey, Vercie B.* - Hamilton  
Vercie B. Harvey, 64, of Hamilton, departed this life on July 13, 2016 at Compassionate Care Hospice at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital. Born in Chester, SC, Vercie graduated from Chester High School before relocating to Trenton. She worked as a hairstylist, businesswoman, and for the State of NJ before becoming ill. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Genevia Wylie; two sisters, Cora Glenn and Mattie Taylor; and two brothers, Joseph and James Wylie. Vercie leaves to cherish fond memories her three brothers Otis "Lester" Wylie of Antelope, CA, Ronald Wylie of Chester, SC and Ricky Wylie of Trenton, NJ; sister-in-law, Ruth Woods Wylie of Columbia, SC; one great aunt, Janie Gore of Chester, SC; special niece that she reared, Sonya Glenn; special great nephews, Aaron and Andre Glenn; nieces and nephews, Nicole, Tonyetta, Samika, Courtney, Laquandra, Aaron, Andre, and Dustin Glenn; special great-great nieces and nephews, Avionce, Cache, Aaliyah, Dashawn, Darnell, and Devyn; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at 11:00 am at Campbell Funeral Chapel, 1225 Calhoun St., Trenton, NJ. Interment will be in Colonial Memorial Park. Calling hours will be held from 9 to 11 am at the chapel. Arrangements: Campbell Funeral Chapel.

Helfrey, Mary Ellis* - Groveville  
Mary Ellis Helfrey GROVEVILLE - Mary Helfrey died Saturday in Hospice Care with her daughter, Marjory at her side. She was active in her community. She served as President of the Groveville-Yardville PTA. She was also the Treasurer of the Hamilton Township girls Soccer League and the Treasurer on the Advisory Board of Trenton Assembly No. 9, Order of Rainbow for Girls. She was a member of the The Order of Eastern Star of New Jersey, Penns Grove Chapter. Mary’s Primary focus was her family and she will be sorely missed by those she left behind. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Bill Helfrey and their Children, Bill and Judy Helfrey, Margie Albright, Laura and Howard “Skip” Roberts, and Barbara Hayes. Her grandchildren included Kathy and Will Speelman, Bill Helfrey, Tina Albright, Jim and Chris Albright, Jaime and Chuck Reinwald, Dawn and Chris Rossell, Rhonda and Jesse Rohloff, and Lauran Sikorski. She was also blessed with 14 great grandchildren and two great great grandsons. Her funeral will be private and held at convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Association in honor of Mary ‘s grandson and great granddaughter at JDRF, 1415 Route 70 East Suite 311, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034 or www.jdrf.org/ Arrangements are under the direction of the Buklad Yardville Memorial Chapel.

Hickey, Ethel M.* - Hamilton  
Ethel M. Hickey HAMILTON - Ethel M. Hickey, 91, of Hamilton, passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2016, at Hamilton Continuing Care Center in Hamilton, NJ. Born in Trenton, Mrs. Hickey was a lifelong area resident. She retired as a sales representative with the credit department of the New Jersey National Bank in 1980 after 8 years of service. She was a member of the Church of the Holy Cross and the Al-An Club on Cass Street in Trenton. She was also a grateful member of Alcoholics Anonymous for over 51 years. Predeceased by her parents, Frank and Ethel (Coley) Kramer; her husband, Edward J. Hickey; her sisters, Ellen Horvath and Marie Barney and her step-grandson, Jeffrey Carlisi; she is survived by three step-daughters and a step-son-in-law; Patricia Kohlmayer, Faith Davies and Maura and Barry O’Boyle; a step-son, Christopher Hickey; 8 step-grandchildren, Andrew and Cindy Kohlmayer, Matthew Kohlmayer, Sean and Katie O’Boyle, Erin and Tom Kondash, and Michael Davies; three step-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be private. Visitation for friends and family will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2016, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ 08690.
