Helen M. Lansing EWING - Helen M. Lansing, 88, of Ewing, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2014 at Capital Health Medical Center - Hopewell. Born in Philadelphia, PA., Helen was a lifelong area resident. She was a homemaker, and in recent years, was a cafeteria aid for the Ewing Township Board of Education (Lore School) for many years. Helen was a member of Incarnation-St. James Parish, its Altar Rosary Society, and Past President of the P.T.A., the Sandpiper Club, enjoyed reading, and the family vacations at Long Beach Island. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Daughter of the late Samuel and Minnie Hayes Scrivener, wife of the late Donald A. Lansing, and sister of the late Frances Spencer, she is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Diane and John Stemler of Ewing Twp.; Katherine and David Friel of Ewing Twp.; Barbara Lansing of Newtown, PA.; a son, Donald M. Lansing, and his significant other Sunshine; five grandchildren, Matthew Gering (Angela), Benjamin Gering (Jennifer), Timothy Friel (Lisa), Megan Friel, and Kendra Lansing, seven great grandchildren, Jason, Ryder, Gerise, Liam, McKenna, Brielle, and Sean, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral will be held on Friday at 8:45 a.m. at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home 935 Parkway Ave. in Ewing. Visit www.murphyfh.com . Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at Incarnation Church 1545 Pennington Rd., Ewing. Burial will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton.
