DiMattia, Louis C.* - Hamilton Twp.  
Louis C. DiMattia HAMILTON TWP. - Louis C. DiMattia, 93, of Hamilton Township, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton, Hamilton Township, NJ. Born in Trenton, New Jersey, he was a life-long Trenton area resident. Mr. DiMattia was a US Army Air Corp Veteran of World War II. He was a graduate of Trenton Central High School Class of 1939. He retired in 1983 after seven years with the New Jersey Department of Transportation, Ewing Township. He was formerly employed by Roebling Steel/CF&I, and National State Bank. Louis was a life member of the Bordentown Elks #2085, Bordentown, and was an avid dancer and dance instructor throughout Mercer and Bucks Counties. Son of the late Nicola and Anna Della Corte DiMattia; father of the late Louis C. DiMattia, Jr.; brother of the late Joseph and Jerry DiMattia, Eleanor Gauck, and Emily Steele; he is survived by his loving wife, Mary D. Chiavoni DiMattia; four sons and daughters-in-law, Raymond and Lois DiMattia, Michael and Claire DiMattia, Richard and Linda DiMattia, and Joseph and Maryann DiMattia; his two daughters and sons-in-law, Carol DiMattia and her husband Dennis Ledger, and Janet and Gary Unwin; a sister-in-law, Gladys DiMattia; ten grandchildren; a great-grandson; and many nieces and nephews cousins and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Anthony's Church, 626 South Olden Avenue, Hamilton. Entombment will follow in Saint Mary's Mausoleum, Hamilton. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Brenna Funeral Home, 340 Hamilton Avenue, Trenton, NJ 08609.

Gualfetti, Mary D.* - Trenton  
Mary D. Gualfetti TRENTON - Mary D. Gualfetti, 97, of Trenton, passed away Monday, December 22, 2014, in Hamilton Continuing Care Center. Born in Trenton she was a lifelong area resident. Mary retired from the State of NJ Division of Motor Vehicles after 25 years of service. She was a member of St. Joachim Senior Citizens Club, Sam Naples Senior Citizens and Hamilton Senior Center. Mary enjoyed traveling with her late husband Peter , and trips to Atlantic City. She was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Anna (Pansewicz) Zazzecka; and her husband of 48 years, Perino (Pete) Gualfetti. Mary is survived by her son, Frederick Gualfetti of Hamilton; grandchildren, Pete Gualfetti and wife Gayle Ginsburg of San Francisco, California and Michele and Dikran Derderian of Avondale, Pa.; great granddaughters, Serena and Mya Derderian; a sister Anna Pischarick; and several nieces , nephews and cousins. The funeral will be held Monday, December 29, at 8:30a.m from the Gruerio Funeral Home, 311 Chestnut Avenue, Trenton. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Angels Parish at St. Joachim Church, 20-56 Butler Street, Trenton. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, 400 Woolsey Street, Hamilton. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects to Mary's family on Sunday from 6-9 p.m. at the Gruerio Funeral Home.

HAINES, Dennis* - New Egypt  
Dennis Lester Haines, age 57, of New Egypt passed away Tuesday, November 25 at CentraState Medical Center in Freehold. Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident. Dennis grew up with a love of nature and the outdoors that turned into a job as a forest ranger, then on to a job with Rutgers Horticultural Development Department in Freehold. He loved to go hunting, fishing, sailing, flying and working with wood. These were just some of his hobbies, but he was more than content just being home with his wife Connie and his beloved dogs. Dennis was predeceased by his parents, Doris and Charles Robert Haines, Sr. He is survived by his beloved wife of 10 years, Connie (Hurley) Haines; four children, Jeffery Haines, Adam Dennis Haines, Mitchell Raymond Haines and Nicolette Rene Haines; two step-children, Aaron Shiner and wife Jennifer and Rene Mans and husband Marcus; two brothers, Charles Robert Haines Jr. and Leonard Haines; two sisters, Barbara Davidson and Beverly Burke Mauder; three grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; seven nieces and five nephews. A memorial service for Dennis will be held on Sunday, December 7 at 4:00 PM at the Building on the Rock Community Church, 89 Beckerville Road, Manchester, NJ 08759 ( www.botrchurch.com ), with calling hours from 3:00 to 4:00 PM at the church. In lieu of flowers, it is respectfully requested that memorial contributions is Dennis' name be made to the Building on the Rock Community Church at the above address. Hutchinson, Violet I.* - Hamilton  
Violet I. Hutchinson HAMILTON TWP. - Violet I. Hutchinson, age 87 of Hamilton Twp., passed away December 21, 2014 surrounded by her loving family in the CHS/Hopewell. Born in Violet , PA, raised in upstate New York, Violet was a resident of Hamilton Twp. for 68 years. She was a hard worker throughout her life. She retired from Heineman Electric after many years. She was the most loving mother and grandmother. The most important thing to her was her family. She enjoyed working in her home which was a gathering place full of love for her family and also her friends. She worked tirelessly in her yard. Her beautiful flowers welcomed everyone before you entered her door. She also enjoyed trips to Atlantic City where she would instruct everyone on her winning strategy. She will be mourned by many and celebrated by all who knew her for the love she gave so unselfishly. Predeceased by her parents, Samuel and Mary Ellen Rearick Dauberman, husband, Robert Hutchinson, son-in-law, Jerry Carroll, siblings Harry Dauberman, Frederick and Evelyn Dauberman, Sylvester (Jerry) Dauberman, Gladys Scoonover, Albert (Butchie) Dauberman, and Marjorie Powell, Violet is survived by daughters Gail Carroll, Jo Ann and spouse Joseph Fechter, and Nancy Hutchinson and Martin Ciccia all of Hamilton Twp., grandchildren, Sherri and Dean Chianese, Alisa and Jeffrey Silva, Lauren and William Scott, and Robert Fechter, and 2 great grandchildren Carlene and Allison Chianese, sisters and brothers-in-law, May Dunbar of Whitehall NY, Fay Thiebeault of Hague NY, Wilma and Ronald Black of West Windsor, sister-in-law Joan Alloway of Trenton, Alberta Parrish of GA, and Winifred Heath of AZ, her special "adopted" son, Gary Dempster and special friends Margaret (Sis) Rasimonwicz, Mary Kierepka, and many dear nieces and nephews and dear friends. Calling hours will be Friday morning from 9 to 11am at the Hartmann Memorial Home 2830 Nottingham Way Mercerville NJ 08619. Services will be at 11am in the funeral home followed by burial in the Princeton Memorial Park Cemetery in Robbinsville.
