O’Connor, Edmond W. "Ned"* - Trenton  
Edmond "Ned" W. O'Connor, 72, of Trenton passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 14th at Capital Health System – Hopewell Campus with his wife, son and many relatives at his side. Born in Rockville Center, Long Island, he lived most of his life in Lambertville and Trenton. Son of the late William H. O'Connor of Westbury, Long Island and Janet Ingoldsby of Cresson, PA, he is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Antinette (Toni) and adoring son, Sean Patrick, as well as several nieces and nephews, cousins and in-laws. Ned was a volunteer member of the Columbia Fire Department in Lambertville and raduated from Trenton Catholic High School in 1961. He was drafted into the US Army in 1966 and was honorably discharged in 1972. While in the Army, he was awarded Soldier of the Month and received numerous awards and citations based on merit and skill. He was a member of the Holy Name Society, a 3rd Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus and a devoted philanthropist for St. Jude Children's Hospital and Boys Town, just to name a few. He retired from the NJ Department of Transportation in 2008 as a Materials Engineer after 37 years of service.He loved fishing, Formula One Racing, working in the yard and spending time with his family and friends. Visiting hours will be Monday from 6 – 9pm and Tuesday 8 – 9:15am at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, 935 Parkway Ave., Ewing. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10am at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 137 W. Upper Ferry Rd., West Trenton. Richford, Nadia* - Robbinsville  
Nadia Richford, 66, of Robbinsville, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2015, at St. Francis Hospital, Compassionate Care Hospice, Trenton, NJ with loved ones by her side through her entire journey into God's arms. Born as Nadia Bojtschuk in war-torn Belgium, Nadia and her parents came to Trenton, NJ by way of Ellis Island in 1953. A long time employee of the Daily Racing Form, Nadia was responsible for a wide variety of tasks including data entry, advertisement layout and the satellite room. Famous for her Christmas cookies, Nadia also treated friends and family to her handmade quality needlework, scarves and afghans. She was totally devoted to her family, especially her grandson, Cameron, as a Sunnybrae Little League "Grandmom!". Nadia truly cared for others and was always willing to help; whenever and wherever her family, friends, neighbors and strangers who needed her, she was there. She has left a loving impression on many hearts. Daughter of the late Iwan and Olga Bojtschuk; Nadia is survived by her daughter, Lisa Richford and son-in-law, Darryl Bogart; her son, Thomas Richford; her beloved grandson, Cameron Bogart; an aunt, Sofia Dembitcka Myronenko; two special cousins that were as close as sisters to her, Luba Myronenko Dreyling and Lida Myronenko Raywood-Sharp; a Godson, Christopher Dreyling; a mother-in-law, Dorothy Richford; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews; special love, Michael Seamon who never stopped proposing to her; special childhood friend, Tina DeMartino Parish; and special extended families the Piepszaks and Bonacordas. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 am on Thursday, May 21st at St. Raphael's Church, 3500 South Broad St, Hamilton. Interment will follow in St. Mary Assumption Cemetery, Hamilton. Friends may call Wednesday from 6-8 pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown. Sanverdine, Michael J.* - Hamilton  
Michael J. Sanverdine, 80, of Hamilton entered into God's Loving Care Friday, May 15, 2015 at Compassionate Care Hospice of Trenton, with his loving family by his side. Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong Trenton/Hamilton area resident. He proudly served in the United States Army. Michael retired from the State of New Jersey Department of Human Services after thirty five years of service. He was a former member of Villa Park Soldiers and Sailors Club; he enjoyed trips to Atlantic City, horse racing and was an avid Phillies and Redskins fan, but most of all Michael cherished the times he spent watching his grandchildren play sports. Predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Mary (Carbonara) Sanverdine, his loving wife of 39 years, Marlene (Fiore) Sanverdine, he is survived by his devoted children, Michael A. Sanverdine and wife Laura and ; Michelle Plumeri and husband Michael; one sister, Josephine Kambis; his cherished grandchildren, Nicholas and Anna Sanverdine, and Matthew and Marissa Plumeri; a nephew, Richard Cucinotta; a niece, Linda Longo and husband Arthur. Also surviving are several great nieces, nephews and cousins. The Funeral will be held 10:15 am Tuesday, May 19, from D'Errico Whitehorse Mercerville Chapel, 2365 Whitehorse Mercerville Road, Hamilton, NJ 08619, located in the Brenna Cellini Facility. 609-587-9050. Scott, Thelma Annette* - Trenton  
Thelma Annette Scott HAMILTON - Thelma Annette Scott, 56, of Trenton, departed this life on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Francis. Born in Trenton, Annette was a lifelong resident. She received her high school diploma from Trenton Central High School in 1977. She also completed several college level courses in pursuit of her Bachelor’s degree. Annette recently retired from the State of New Jersey, Department of Environmental Protection after many years of service. She was a member of Cadwalader Asbury United Methodist Church, where she was involved in various ministries. Annette was predeceased by her parents, Wade Harrison Scott, Sr. and Thelma Breeden Scott. She leaves to cherish her memory, two brothers, Wade H. Scott, Jr. (now, Scott Christian) of Bronx, NY; and Everett H. Scott of Manhattan, NY; a sister, Roslyn A. Scott of Trenton, NJ; one aunt, Mabel “Alfreda” Williams of Ewing, NJ; a cousin, Charlotte Williams of Ewing, NJ; two nephews, Kenneth Leonard Jr. (Jerilyn) of San Diego, CA and Ricky Ruffin, Jr. of Ewing, NJ; two nieces, Rique’ and Amanda Ruffin of Ewing, NJ, a special friend, Evangela “Van” Williams, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, 5-22-2015 at 1:00pm at Cadwalader-Asbury United Methodist Church, 910 Stuyvesant Ave., Trenton, NJ. A calling hour will be held from 12 noon to 1 pm at the church.

Steward Sr., David Devell* - Trenton  
On Tuesday, May 12, 2015, God saw you were getting tired, so He did what He thought best. He came and stood beside you and whispered, "Come and rest" with his family by the bedside David, went to be with the Lord. David Devell Steward Sr. was born in Trenton, New Jersey, on March 29, 1966. He was the son of the late Charlie Davis and the late Nettie Steward. In 2002, David married his friend of more Than 30 years, Shambre Kinsey. David Steward was educated in the Trenton Public Schools system and later attended Empire Careers in Utica, NY. He proudly served in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1984 to 1992. On October 1st, 2014, David retired from Mercer County Corrections Hopewell, New Jersey, after 27 years of employment. During his time at Mercer County Corrections, he served as an Honor Guard. He was a member of Local PBA 167, serving as the secretary. David is predeceased by his siblings, Keith Steward Sr., Charlette Steward and Sianetta Walker, and also a very special Aunt Reverend Ovetta Scott. David leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Shambre, Three Children; David Jr., Danielle of Marietta, Ga, and stepdaughter Tiffany Kinsey of Somerset NJ., Six grand-children Zymere, Audrianna, ZyKeria, Davion, Zaie and Madiye; Siblings; Donzella Godbolt, and Sephronia of Trenton NJ, Luthenia of Pa., Leroy Thomas (Jessie), Darryl, Carolyn Collins (Cameron), Jeffrey, Theresa McGrath, Valerie, Tashona Butler (Lewis) all of Tallahassee Fla.; Mother-in- law: Lily Scott, Two sister-in-Laws Beverly Miller and Deborah Kinsey and Brother-in-Law Gary Kinsey a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends, He will be truly missed. Funeral services will be held at 11 am, Monday, May 18, 2015 at First Baptist Church, 771 Somerset St., Somerset. Viewing is from 10-11 am, at church. Entombment will follow at Franklin Memorial Park Mausoleum, North Brunswick. Arrangements are by Anderson Funeral Service, New Brunswick.
