Amanda Lee Calderone

PEMBERTON - Amanda Lee Calderone of Browns Mills, age 20 years, passed away suddenly on April 17, 2014 at Lourdes Emergency Department at Deborah Heart and Lung Center. She was a lifelong resident of Browns Mills and a graduate of Pemberton Township High School. Amanda was two weeks shy of graduating from Lincoln Tech with a diploma as a medical assistant. She loved music, being with her friends and being outdoors.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, John and Patricia Gilkey and paternal grandfather, Thomas Ashley. Beloved daughter of Laura Lee Gilkey Smith and Andrew A. Calderone, dear sister of Steven Calderone and Patricia Smith, and devoted granddaughter of Helen Ashley and Viola Richardson. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Relatives and friends of Amanda's family are invited to her viewing and visitation from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, at The Lankenau Funeral Home, 370 Lakehurst Road, Browns Mills, Pemberton Township, where her funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Betty Gibbons officiating.
