Angela M. Wolliard

PENNINGTON - Angela M. Wolliard, 75, of Pennington passed away Saturday at Brandywine Senior Living.
Born in Trenton, she lived in Alexandria, VA, Poughkeepsie, NY and Osborn Island, NJ before moving to Pennington.
Angela retired as the Vice President of Nursing Services of St. Francis Hospital in Poughkeepsie, NY after a 16 year career. She had been the Director of Merwick Rehab Hospital in Princeton; an administrator at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Jersey City and an administrator with the American Red Cross in Washington, DC where she was overseeing the Blood Centers.
She was a graduate of Cathedral High School – Class of 1954; Villanova University – Class of 1958 earning her BS in Nursing and Catholic University where she earned her MS. She also served in the Naval Reserves with the rank of Captain.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the entire staff at Brandywine and Compassionate Care Hospice for the care given to Angela.
Daughter of the late John C. and Margaret M. Brancolino Wolliard, sister of the late Joseph J. Wolliard and companion of the late Mary Jarvis Bateman, she is survived by 2 sisters and a brother-in-law, Joan F. and Joseph F. Cappello, Jr. of Ewing and Lorraine Wolliard, RSM, of Watchung, NJ; a sister-in-law, Teresa Wolliard of Hamilton; 5 nieces, Kathryn (Michael) Clancy, JoAnn Cappello, Carolyn (Mark) Burns, Margaret M. (Frank) Piliere and Karen (William) Kent; also 5 great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 9am at St. James Church, 115 E. Delaware Ave., Pennington, NJ followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hamilton.
