Angeliki K. Kostalas, 81, of Hamilton, passed away on Friday June 14, 2013 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton.
Born in chios, Greece, Angeliki was a life long area resident. Angeliki was a Homemaker, a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church, its Seniors Group, and the Philoptocos Society. She received from the Church Mother of the Year Award, and was very active with the yearly Greek Festival.
Daughter of the late Elias and Ginovias Perris Kakaris, and wife of the late Elias Kostalas, she is survived by three sons and three daughters-in-law; Anthony and Ruth Kostalas; of Staten Island, NY; Nikolaos and Svetlana Kostalas; of Hamilton Square; and Demitrios (Jimmy) and Christine Kostalas; of Hamilton: two grandchildren; Angela Brun and her husband Alex; and David Kostalas; one great-granddaughter; Katherine Brun; one sister; Joanna Bahs; of Greece, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral will be held on Wednesday (June 19) at 8:45 a.m. ath the M. William Murphy Funeral Home 1863 Hamilton Ave. in Hamilton. Visit www.murphyfh.com.
Services will be held 10 a.m. at St. George Greek Orthodox Church 1200 Klockner Rd. in Hamilton. Burial will be in the Greek Section of Greenwood Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday evening from 6–9 p.m. at the funeral home.
