Annie Laura Moore

Annie Laura Moore, 99, departed this life on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at Hamilton Continuing Care.
She was born in Savannah (Chatham County), GA, where she grew up in the Maybranch Baptist Church where she also attended school. A resident of Hightstown, for over 50 years, she was employed by The Sunnyfield Nursing Home, Davlyn Cosmetics, Peddie School and retired from the East Windsor Regional School District.
Mother Moore and her family joined Robbinsville First Baptist Church in the 1950's under the late Rev. A.H. Eure and served faithfully with the choir and usher ministries, missionary society and pastor's aide. She was also affiliated with The Emmanuel Pentecostal Church in the early 1950's under the late Overseer C.J. Jones Jackson.
She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Moore, Sr., one son, Joseph, Jr. and Thomas Moore, two brothers: Paris and Cordy Lewis, six sisters: Lillian, Julia , Hattie, Vannie Lou, Mary and Minnie. She is survived by two daughters; Dorothy Moore and Shelley Saunders; both of Hightstown; two adopted daughters; Claudia Mae Rae; Debbie Watson; and Kaye Parrish; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, her Hamilton Continuing Care Family and friends.
Calling hours will be on Friday (July19) from 6-8 p.m. at Anderson Funeral Service, 300 N. Willow St. Trenton. Funeral services will be held on Saturday (July 20) at 11:30 a.m. at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, 21 Rev. William Powell Dr., Hightstown, NJ. Rev. Larry Hyche officiating; Rev. Bernard Fowler, host pastor. Calling hours on Saturday will be from 10 a.m. until time of service at the church.
Interment at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hightstown, NJ.
