TRENTON - Annie Mae Wells, 91, died on Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at home surrounded by her loving family.
Born and educated in Bartow, Ga., she had been a resident of Trenton for more than 50 years and was a self-employed day care provider.
She was predeceased by her husband, Jonas Wells, her parents, Henry Lee and Bertha Otha Lee, children, Annie Lois Ross and Arthur Sans Jr. (Bud), brothers, Eugene, Sammy, John, Arthur, Ellis and Elger Lee. She is survived by her children, Ethel Thomas, Rosetta Davis and Mary Roberts, all of Trenton, Bobby Wells and Jessie Lee, both of Phoenix, Ariz., Minnie and Jimmy Bagwell, both of Willingboro; one brother, Willie Lester Lee (Geraldine) of Waycross, Ga.; one sister, Louise Mason of Bartow, Ga.; one sister-in-law, Eva Lee Jordan who was foster mother to Beverly and Barbara Harvin; 50 grandchildren, 75 great-grandchildren, 40 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 23, at Anderson Funeral Service, 300 N. Willow St., Trenton. Calling hours are from 10 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home. Interment will be at Colonial Memorial Park, Hamilton.
