Benjamin Joseph Warner Sr.

Benjamin Joseph Warner, Sr. ,87, died on Monday, July 8, 2013 at St. Francis Medical Center.
Born in Trenton, he was a resident of Hamilton Township most of his life and was educated in Hamilton public schools. He was employed for over 35 years at Acme-Hamilton Rubber Mfg. Company, Dairy Queen Ice Cream Company of Mercerville and several other part-time jobs during his life.
He was predeceased by his son, Benjamin J. Warner, Jr., his parents Richard and Elizabeth Warner, one sister, Julia Guerra and 5 brothers, Richard, Rev. Leon H., Robert, Charles and Alfred Warner. He is survived by his wife; Shirley Warner; one son; Nicholas J. Warner; of Hamilton; stepsons; Timothy and Edward Brittingham; six daughters; Gloria Griffith; Joann Thorpe; Diane Cropper; Linda Warner; Yvonne and Yvette Brittingham; 17 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; three sisters; Marion McCrae; Martha Jones and Frances Leverett; brother and sister-in-law; Frank and Royce Warner and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday (July 20) at 10 a.m. at Saint Phillips Baptist Church, 445 Parkinson Ave. Dr. Joseph E. Woods, Senior Pastor, officiating. Calling hours from 8 a.m. until time of service at the church. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton Twp., NJ.
