Carmenlita Steven

Carmenlita Steven, 44, departed this life at home on Thursday, April 25, 2013.
Born in Trenton, Carmen was employed for 20 years as Supervisor of Security at Bell South in Miami, FL. She attended and graduated from South Dade Skill Center in Miami, FL where she obtained her GED. She enjoyed spending time with her children and extended family.
She was predeceased by her son, Quavon Timothy Jones Foster, father, Sammie C. Kelly, and other beloved relatives.
Left to cherish her memory are her mother; Delores (Y'von) Le'Ger; of Miami, FL; her loving children; Jovan; Nyesha; Tyesha; and Davon; two sisters; Stacey and Tonya Kelly; both of Cheverly, MD; two brothers; Anthony Kelly; of Washington, DC and Gerald Kelly; of Raleigh, NC; paternal grandmother; Mamie Kelly; of Trenton; special cousins; Tara Dickerson and Sonya Kelly; the McKinney; Dowdell; Miller and Glover families; of Trenton, other relatives and special friend, Timothy Jones.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday (May 18) at 10 a.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church, 340 Rev. Dr. S. Howard Woodson Way, Trenton. Family and friends are welcome to begin gathering at 9 a.m.
