Christopher C. Ferrara Jr., 61, died Monday, October 29, 2012 at home with his loving family at his side after a long illness.
Born in Trenton, Mr. Ferrara was a life-long Trenton resident. He retired in 2011 after over 20 years service with Capital Health Regional Medical Center. Chris was a Civil War enthusiast and very knowledgeable about Civil War history. Also, he enjoyed attedning antique car shows, especially at the New Hope annual show as well as being a boxing fan and a movie trivia expert especially the classics and the black and white movies.
Son of the late Christopher C. Sr, and Josephine M. Bozek Ferrara, husband of the late Linda M. Sickles Ferrara, grandfather of the late Neveah R. Ferrara, brother of the late JoAnn Ferrara, he is survived by two sons and one daughter in-law; Christopher C. Ferrara, III and Michael A. and Dana Ferrara; both of Trenton, four grandchildren; Genevieve S. Ferrara; Avarie R. Ferrara; Alivia M. Ferrara and Amilia L. Ferrara, three brothers and two sister in-laws; John A. Ferrara of Trenton, Anthony J. and Lorie Ferrara of Yardville, and Lawrence M. and Julieann Ferrara; of Hamilton as well as severl nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Monday (Nov. 5) from the Winowicz Funeral Chapel, 865 Brunswick Avenue. Funeral liturgy will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Hedwigs Church. Burial will e in St. Hedwigs cemetery, Hamilton. Calling hours will be from 8-9:30 a.m. on Monday at the Funerl Chapel.
