Denise Gwendolyn Wooten

Denise G. Wooten TRENTON - Denise Gwendolyn wooten, 61, of Trenton, departed this life on september 22, 2013, with her loving family and friends by her side. Born on October 31, 1951 in Laurens, south carolina, Denise was educated in the Princeton School System, graduating from Princeton high School in 1969. She was an alumni of the state renowned Imperial Debs Drill Team. denise was employed as a Client Relations Supervisor at the Educational Testing Service for over 30 years, before her retirement. Denise is predeceased by her mother Barbara G. Hill, maternal grandmother Wilma Kennedy, and father-in-law Chester Wooten Sr. Her memory will be deeply cherished and celebrated by her husband of 38 yeats, Paul Wooten of Trenton, NJ; loving daughter and son-in-law Dayla and Eric Simon of Chicago, IL; a brother, Willie "Billy" Hill (Grace) of Hightstown; three sisters, April Hill McElroy of Princeton, twins Johnnie Hill-Hudgins (John) of Trenton and Michael Marie Hill of Princeton; an aunt Dannie Kennedy of Princeton; mother-in-law Laura Wooten of Lawrenceville; brother-in-law Chester Wooten Jr., three sister-in-laws Carolyn Love, Yvonne Hill, and Leola Griffin; godson Radel Wooten, a goddaughter Terron Williams; a special friend Carole Taylor; a special mention to her niece Dellice McElroy for her devotion during her last days, and a host of loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. memorial services will be celebrated on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 1:00pm at First Baptist Church, 30 Green Street, princeton, NJ 08542. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Denise G. Wooten's honor an educational scholarship fund of your choice. The family greatly appreciates all of the love, prayers and kindness received during their time of mourning.
