Eddie Jerome Peoples

TRENTON - Eddie Jerome Peoples, 62, of Trenton, died Sunday at Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Francis Medical Center.
Born in Thomasville, N.C., Mr. Peoples was a graduate of JH Gunn High School in Charlotte, N.C. He continued his education at culinary school. He attended Pleasant Grove AME Church in North Carolina. He was employed as a cook and upon moving to New Jersey he worked in the construction field.
He was predeceased by his parents, Eddie and Lillie Mae Peoples, a sister, Chandra McCray, paternal grandmother, Frances Peoples and a great-nephew, Eric Reid. Surviving are a brother, Alonzo Donaldson; five sisters, Diane Peoples Grissom (Albert Murphy), Zara, Pixie and Andre Donaldson and Octavia McGuire; a special friend, Dolores Talley and her children, Latisha Moore, Tony, Benny, Frankie, Denise, Ursula, Toddy, Jerry and Michael Talley; special grandchildren, Daniella and Hakeem Talley; special nieces, Kendra, Danita and Monica Grissom and Tyrhonda Frazier; a special nephew, Eric Terrence Grissom; one uncle, Charles Harris of Thomasville, N.C. and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Campbell Funeral Chapel, 122 Calhoun St., Trenton. Interment will be in Colonial Memorial Park, Hamilton. Calling hours will be Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the chapel.
