PENNINGTON - Edythe A. Boyer, 93, of Pennington, departed this life on Dec. 21, 2012, at Princeton HealthCare System.
Edythe was born in Trenton, however she was a lifelong resident of Pennington and graduated from the Pennington school system.
She was employed at General Motors
until her retirement.
Her passions were to travel around the world, to attend the annual Devon Horse Show in Devon, Pa., and to partake in the festivities of the annual carnival celebration of Mardi Gras in New Orleans. Her hobbies included collecting stamps, going to the beach, and doing all types of puzzles.
She was predeceased by her mother, Stella Grover Witcher and her father, Albert V. Witcher. She was the wife of the late Frederick T. Boyer Jr., sister of the late Marion Witcher, and mother of the late Frederick T. Boyer III. She is survived by her brother, Albert T. Witcher of Hopewell Township; a daughter, Linda J. Roberts of Lawrenceville; two granddaughters, Janine Stanley (Darryl) of Panama City, Fla. and Janel Jones of Lawrenceville; four great- grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at 11 a.m. from the Blackwell Memorial Home, 21 N. Main St., Pennington, with the Rev. Tom Hill officiating. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of the services at the memorial home. Interment will be on Monday.
