Ellis L. Booker

TRENTON - Ellis L. Booker, age 69, of Trenton, passed away April 29, 2014 at home.
He was born in Wyco, W.Va. and was educated in the Fayette County, W.Va. public school system. Ellis was employed by Stokes Molded Products and Congoleum Corp. for more than 25 years as a machine operator.
He was the son of the late Frank and Maude Calloway, husband of the late Barbara Jean Booker, brother of the late Luther Booker, Cynthia Booker, Beulah Morton and Janet Taylor, and stepfather of the late Wendy T. Ross. Ellis is survived by four children, Nina Logan, Monica L. Booker-Johnson (James), Ellie L. Booker-Wolfe (James), and Dorshonda Freeman (Tyrone), two stepchildren, Emory Ross (Janice), and Vicky Ross; three brothers, Chestine Booker (Adrian), Terry Booker (Corliss) and Gerven Booker, fiancée Yvette Bazemore; nine grandchildren, Maurice and Isiah Booker, Jayda and Jayden Johnson, Patrice Hall, Elijah Freeman, Tyler Brown, Eddie and Lakeisha Logan; two great-grandchildren, Leila Jemerison and Alyse Logan; a nephew whom he raised Ateba Booker; his beloved brother and sister-in-law. Dee and Betty Woods; special friends, James, Pete and Clyde; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at the Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton. Calling hours will be from 9 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home. Interment Ewing Cemetery.
